Reebok International is a leading worldwide manufacturer and marketer of sports, fitness, and lifestyle footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories that combine the attributes of athletic performance and style.
The Reebok Brand Design department in Canton, MA is seeking dedicated, organized, and committed Summer Interns for 2012. This internship will provide a qualified candidate with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in assisting our Footwear, Apparel, and Graphics Design teams. Candidates will learn what it is like working for a Global Design organization and will be part of a dynamic team charged with creating innovation for the Reebok brand.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Design department with various tasks including trend research, design presentations, technical specification creation and color selection
* Create mood boards under the guidance of staff designers
* Create or revise tech/spec packages for footwear, apparel and graphics under the guidance of a designer
* Contribute design ideas/concepts to new products designs
Requirements:
* Junior level design students only. Students who have graduated are not eligible (please see our apprenticeship program)
* Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion and Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Illustration Design, and Furniture Design majors
* Strong sketching, rendering and quick visualization skills
* Adobe Illustrator proficiency
* PhotoShop knowledge beneficial but not necessary
* Ability to take direction from senior design team members
* Team oriented individual who can also work well independently
* Flexibility to take on various additional projects as needed
* Passion for our brand and industry
