Employee reviews, examines and enters cash receipts into Meditech system accurately and in a timely manner either manually or via an 835 file import.
Reconciliation of discrepancy in balancing the batch involves the recount of totals and subtotals of the remittance and the review for accuracy of individual entries.
AS in Accounting preferred.
3-5 years experience of Billing experience in a hospital setting.
Must be accurate in making and verifying arithmetical computations and adjustments on remittances.
Knowledge in one or more automated databases associated with a specific accoutning funtion.
