ARINC's Engineering and Technical Services Division is looking for a Project Management Support Analyst to support the Space and Nuclear Network Division at the Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The ideal candidate will be able to readily identify, evaluate, and resolve programmatic issues associated with installation/upgrade activities to support the Air Force Wideband Enterprise Terminals (AFWET) program.
Uses knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition and contract management principles, policies and practices to manage installation and upgrades of fixed ground satellite projects in support of Air Force ground entry points worldwide.
Compares program direction and guidance to approved installation plans, identifies discrepancies, and recommends actions.
Analyzes acquisition issues and develops risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution.
Duties will include managing overall plans for installation, expansion, and tech refresh of AFWET capabilities and equipment at numerous DoD locations/bases and then reporting the status.
Facilitates oversight and integration of wideband satellite communications (SATCOM) system modifications, upgrades, and refurbishment of communications and site infrastructure as directed by the AFWET Program Manger (PM) at ESC.
Interface with external Government Agencies, deployed Combatant Commands, AF and Army Engineering & Installation teams, and host site personnel while supporting AFWET projects. Qualifications To be considered for this role you will need ten (10) or more years of general DoD program/project experience with eight (8) years minimum of Air Force, DoD, or Government acquisition project management experience.
Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision, supporting numerous projects/programs simultaneously
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Travel as required by program office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AF Program Office acquisitions and experience interfacing with DoD wideband SATCOM community.
Fifteen (15) years of general DoD program/project experience.
Required Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor s Degree required, Masters highly preferred in a technical field.

Amount of Travel Required for Position 25%-50%
