ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ALUMNI RELATIONS, Sloan School of Management, to work with Sloan alumni clubs and regional volunteers to lead a variety of events in collaboration with club efforts and school priorities and initiatives. Will serve as the relationship/portfolio manager with club leadership and regional volunteers to provide hands-on assistance and guidance to each while continuously working to increase engagement, volunteer involvement, and activity both nationally and internationally; handle the regional alumni events process, logistics, and programming; work to improve current club infrastructure while implementing new regional volunteer structures to allow for robust programming and engagement; be responsible for determining and developing detailed programming for events which will consist of working closely with Sloan faculty and staff; assist the associate director with the overall development, implementation, and execution of regional and club strategy; and perform other duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's degree; five years' experience; comfort recruiting and managing MBA alumni volunteers; experience leading a volunteer program; strong analytical and project management skills; superior customer service, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills; ability to think strategically; experience working with volunteers, senior staff, and administration; proficiency with alumni databases and standard PC applications; ability to set goals and priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Seek a self-starter who takes initiative and is detail oriented. Alumni relations experience in a university or professional school is strongly preferred. MIT-00008146-O
