We are excited to launch our search for a first-ever Financial Reporting Manager reporting to our Chief Accounting Officer. The leader in this role will be responsible for creating the footprint of Accellent's external reporting function including technical accounting (FAS123R) and SEC reporting.
This position will be based in our Wilmington, MA corporate headquarters.
Position Summary
The Financial Reporting Manager administers, and coordinates all internal and external financial reporting functions as proceduralized. This includes the analytic review of consolidated financials, board reporting, internal monthly reporting and all aspects of external reporting. This position will be the primary owner of the Company s reporting tools and will perform technical accounting and reporting analysis as necessary.
Key Result Accountabilities
* Under the direction of the Chief Accounting Officer, this newly created position will manage the reporting and consolidated analysis function.
* The Financial Reporting Manager will interact closely with senior management and private equity shareholders.
* Responsibilities include:
* Leading the financial reporting & analysis effort including:
* Periodic reporting to shareholders and executive management.
* Consolidated actual results analysis including monthly reviews with senior management.
* Executive dashboard reporting.
* Financial Statement Analysis as required.
* Prepare/coordinate all SEC reporting including footnote disclosures and MD&A.
* Provide detailed financial and operational analytics in support of monthly updates with shareholders
* Ad hoc projects and analysis to support executive management
Required Experience
Qualifications
* Bachelor s Degree in Accounting; CPA. MBA preferred
* Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
* Prior experience with SEC reporting and manufacturing environments.
* Sarbanes Oxley experience
* Knowledge of technical accounting and ability to translate their meaning.
* Experience with MS Excel.
* Experience with Hyperion is preferred.
* Experience with Mergers & Acquisition
* Highly developed analytical and communication skills.
* Highly organized, with focus on process discipline.
* Ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
* Successful experience working in a demanding user environment
