IT Project Manager- Infrastructure
Delivers projects on time, within budget, while meeting the client expectations. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of departmental technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Shares responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit. Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Monitors project activities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, budget and risk/issue management
IT project planning cost, schedule, deliverables to meet business need
Manage budget for project(s) under direct control
Develop Project Work plans and manages infrastructure resources to meet commitments to stakeholders
Business partner interface for rollout coordination, prioritization, and task management
Supplier interface for projects under direct control
Information systems project execution, which may include testing, documentation, and support transition
Manages day-today operational aspects of a project and scope
Utilize project management tools and SDLC methodologies and enforce project standards
Manages project risks and issues
Reviews deliverables before preparing for an engagement review or passing along to stakeholders
Ensure project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately
Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution into production
Participates in technical advisory roles, as required
Interacts with clients at the technical level, as required
Working with Avid Partners/Vendors (3rd Party and offshore resource groups)
Able to co-ordinate projects internationally across all time zones, as required
Available to work after business hours, to engage with off-source resource teams, as required

Skills and Abilities:
Experience in implementing enterprise infrastructure-related projects in highly diverse and geographically distributed environment s on time, on budget, high business fit
The ability to work with 3rd party resources as required
Highly developed oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
High level of analytical ability
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
The ability to work in a fast paced and global environment
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Education and/or Training:
Undergraduate degree required in business, math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
Minimum 5 years experience in information technology project management discipline across diverse application areas and technologies.
PMP or other project management certification required
