Job Description

Responsible for supervising and performing electrical field installation work in commercial and industrial environments. Systems may include AC Power and Controls, DC Power Systems and associated batteries, emergency generators, Uninterruptible Power Systems within critical facility operations such as Network Data Centers and Communication Switches Sites.

Responsible for execution of field construction/installation in conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards. Perform daily and weekly short-range planning for materials, tools and labor. Maintain daily log of work performed, as well as verification of hours worked. Prepare for critical shutdowns, which will assure 99% success in terms of safety, quality performance and timeliness. Good oral, written and PC skills. Some estimation experience would be helpful.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited technical school majoring in electrical studies or equivalent experience
* A minimum of 5 years practical experience and 2 years supervisor experience as a Mass. Licensed Electrician
* Must have strong technical knowledge, excellent installation mechanics, good interpersonal skills and diagnostic capabilities
* Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and systems
* Response to emergency calls may be required
