Job Description

-Direct global and dispersed team of analysts, including leading, motivating, developing and coaching individuals and entire team.

-Direct and oversee analysts' workload within and across broad topic area and ensure balanced workload that meets client expectations and Research's growth objectives.

-Manage performance, drive high performance culture and oversee and manage remuneration across multiple geographies.

-Drive the strategic evolution of research coverage within assigned area, ensuring high level of innovative research and thought leadership for each supply Chain function and related enabling technologies.

-Collaborate with Agenda Managers to ensure the team has a detailed and compelling research agenda in its assigned topic area for each Supply Chain function and related enabling technologies.

-Contribute to Research long-term strategic objectives by providing expert advice on growth opportunities within broad topic area, and ensure a focus on developing business for Supply Chain overall by serviving the function roles (business and IT).

-Drive, direct and ensure on-time and high-quality fulfillment of each relevant research product.

-Maintains the quality of all research output including written deliverables, CEDs and conference presentations.

-Direct collaborative research inside the team and across other teams and business units.

-Determine the sales support strategy for assigned products.

-Collaborate with Marketing and global Sales to develop business, promote client satisfaction and

increase revenue of associated products, across the Supply Chain and IT roles served.

-Direct and assign resources to effectively respond to requests for CEDs to be carried out by team members, while maintaining analyst agility and productivity.

-Work with manager to oversee budget where needed to ensure expenses reamin within or below budget.

-Contribute to achievement of Research strategic objectives by handling integrative/complex inquiries,

presentations and published research.

-Ensure team follows Gartner processes

Job Requirements

10 plus years experience working within Supply Chain and/or technology field with AMR/Gartner or relevant management experience, with good understanding across all supply Chain functions (plan, source, make, deliver, customer service and NPI)

-Bachelor's degree in related field; Masters preferred - and/or relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience

-Recognized expertise and solid knowledge in research market to lead relevant research coverage & grow business across industries served

-Polished skills in communication, leadership, planning, motivation and coaching

-Experience running and leading multi-national teams

-Credibility to represent Gartner research methodology and strategies effectively at a senior level

-Demonstrates high level of influence, negotiation & facilitation skills

-Collaboration and consensus building skills with a large diverse group of clients

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

-High intercultural awareness
