Job Description :

The Transportation Terminal Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Transportation and is responsible for all Long Haul/Bulk Regional Transportation Operations and Pricing within a territory. The pricing function will be conducted by utilizing the existing Clean Harbors General Pricing Rules (CHGPR) in place at the time of the quotation. Pricing, base and event driven, special pricing, surcharges, mileage pricing, including managing pricing systems, applications and personnel as necessary. Sets, measures and reports on quotes generated weekly. Educates the sales force on features and new capabilities of the Company and industry. Understands the 40 CFR and the 49 CFR regulations that will impact the business of Transportation. Hires all CDL qualified Drivers that meet the company s standards and policies, with the assistance of the HR department. Responsible for all Drivers, of respected region, hours of service, paperwork completeness, time off requests, equipment assignments, training, discipline and any other necessary items that could occur pertaining to a Driver s regulatory or employment. Responsible for all Company equipment, leased, rented or owned assigned to respected region. Job Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent 1-3 years industry experience (preferred) Previous driver experience (preferred) DOT Training 40 Hour OSHA Training Familiar with 40 CFR regulations COMPETENCIES: Organizational skills Communication skills Proficiency in Windows based applications Ability to handle multiple tasks Leadership and management skills Time management skills Ability to schedule and plan Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously LICENSE REQUIRED: CDL Class A License (preferred)
