We are currently hiring for our next Staff Accountant in Boston, MA

The Staff Accountant role will be a broad-based role within the Accounting organization. This position will primarily support Brand, Sales, G&A and Wholesaler revenue accounting and Accounts Payable. It will be responsible for periodic journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.

What You'll Do:
  • Reconcile numerous balance sheet accounts such as prepayments, interest, debt and others.
  • Process goods receipts for received goods and services as detailed on purchase orders.
  • Assist Senior Accountant with reconciliation of monthly & quarterly incentives to Wholesalers/Retailers.
  • Assist in Sales, Brand and G&A reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis including transaction review for accuracy.
  • Prepare and post various journal entries for payroll, 401k, accrued 401k, and other benefit accounts as needed.
  • Assist Revenue Staff Accountant to reconcile and post customer credits & debits for product returns, deposit redemptions, pricing and other billing adjustments.
  • Prepare and submit monthly price posting schedules to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Support month end revenue close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist and support Accounts Payable team on an as needed basis.
  • Support T&E review and processing as needed.
What We're Looking For:
  • B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related area of study
  • 1-3 years in an accounting role
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • SAP ERP experience is a plus
  • Anaplan, Every Angle, Cognos experience is a plus
