Job Title
Assoc Project Controls Specialist III

Job Description
60-Day Schedule Updates (Excel and P6 knowledge)
Update target dates and added activities with Engineer assistance
Update P6 dates monthly
Add new activities to P6 if added to 60-day
Work with Cost Engineer to incorporate schedule information in field quantity tracking database.
Monthly Narrative (Word & writing skills)
Expected – Some assistance with adding language or reviewing, if necessary
Potential Change Orders (PCO) (Word, Excel, & basic P6)
For potential EIC delays only – review schedule activities and log/daily reports to determine if delay – enter information into PCO and send for review
Monthly update schedules for each discipline (Excel and P6 knowledge)
Assist with monthly update (retrieve update sheets, get signatures, review for missing updates, compiling and printing of documents)
Create discipline schedules monthly, review, and send to disciplines
Review with disciplines and recommend necessary adjustments or activities to add/delete
Create schedules in PDF and Excel for disciplines as requested (Excel and P6 knowledge)
Take notes in meetings and be able to explain the meeting objectives, takeaways, and actions required by the scheduling department
Basic ability to read construction plans/drawings
Review plans against schedule activities

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent technical degree or non-technical degree with business and computer software courses
• Understand the fundamentals of engineering models and construction drawings
• Understand fundamental concepts of Estimating
• Proficiency in the use of automated cost or schedule management systems
• Possess strong personal computer skills

Other Job Requirements
Good knowledge of Word & Excel, and lower level working knowledge of P6 (knowledge of updating progress, fixing out-of-sequence, & being able to explain those adjustments)
